Choices Life Resource Center is a free parenting resource center providing compassionate medical care for pregnancy, sexual health related services, and free baby supplies through our StepUp Parenting Program. We’re located in Indiana with centers in New Albany, Corydon, Salem, Charlestown, and Marengo.
As a non-profit organization in Indiana, all of our services are free and confidential. No insurance is needed and residency is not required. Most services are offered in English and Spanish. They provide a safe, supportive environment so you can explore your pregnancy options. Services include: Pregnancy 10 Testing; Ultrasound; Abortion Consult; Pregnancy Options Consult; Pregnancy and Parenting Education; Maternity and Infant Supplies; STD/STI Testing and Treatment; Medical and Community Referrals; and Post Abortion Care.

Hoosier Healthwise Helpline - 800-889-9949
Hoosier Healthwise is a health care program for children up to age 19 and pregnant women. The program covers medical care such as doctor visits, prescription medicine, mental health care, dental care, hospitalizations, and surgeries at little or no cost to the member or the member's family. The Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) is for children up to age 19 whose families have slightly higher incomes. In CHIP, members are required to pay a low monthly premium for coverage as well as copays for certain services.

Provides nutritional counseling and food vouchers for pregnant mothers and families with children age newborn to age five. Based on income guidelines, Medicaid, or SNAP eligibility.

Campbellsburg First Baptist Church - 8026 W. Batt Road, Door #20 - 502-966-3821 Salem, IN Open on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. This pantry is located on the West Washington school campus and no one is permitted on school grounds until 4:30 p.m. People arriving early will be asked to leave. If holiday falls on Monday, then pantry will open on the Monday before the holiday.

This senior citizens center provides noon lunches to persons age 60 and over (on a donation basis) for the senior citizen and his or her spouse.

Food pantry service is on the 3rd Monday of the month (5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.) serving residents of Fredericksburg, Livonia, Hardinsburg, and Palmyra. We will also serve in crisis situations. Call before visiting the site to check on geographic restrictions and eligibility.

The Dare to Care Mobile Pantry arrives the 1st Thursday of each month at 2 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene parking lot. This is a drive-thru. Pantry may be cancelled in the event of severe weather. Call ahead for last minute, weather-related cancellations. USDA commodities distributed at the Mobile Pantry may be accessed by residents of Washington County, IN.
Hoosier Uplands Energy Assistance Program 902 S. Aspen Drive Salem, IN - 800-487-8890 812-883-5368 Financial assistance for heating in winter is available through the Energy Assistance Program. Resident’s income must meet at or below the Office of Management and Budget Poverty Guidelines.
